current consent model, and where is it likely to be extended? What are been the barriers to adoption to date? What remains unfinished, what are the problems to solve for? How might this relate to LIXI going forward?

Many of the big trends shaping the industry have implications for data standards and LIXI is well poised to address these.|

|Shane Rigby – CEO at LIXI
Shane joined LIXI in 2016 after a decade in international technology roles across Barclays in the UK, Singapore and the USA. He is passionate about technology and how new technologies can solve business problems in exciting and often unexpected ways.
Shane has a history of providing strong leadership, having proved himself as a business analyst and developer before successfully leading program delivery across multiple areas in a global bank.
|Elise Ivory – Partner at Dentons
Elise is a partner in the Banking and Finance practice of Dentons in Sydney. Elise works as part of the financial services regulation and compliance team alongside Jon Denovan.
Elise is a trusted advisor of a wide range of clients including both major and non-major banks, mutuals, non-bank lenders, securitised programs, aggregators and brokers.
|Jon Denovan – Special Counsel at Dentons
Jon is recognised as a leading lawyer in financial services regulation in Australia, and was the first honorary member of the Mortgage & Finance Association of Australia (MFAA) in recognition of his contribution to the mortgage industry.
Jon’s significant knowledge makes him a trusted expert on all forms of financial accommodation and is Australia’s leading authority on non-bank lending, third-party distribution agreements, and mortgage and loan servicing.
|John Matthews – Technical Lead at LIXI
John is a technical analyst/developer, and technology communicator and educator. In three years with LIXI, John has been instrumental in the maintenance and development of the LIXI standards as well as a range of tools used by the LIXI community.
John's experience as an educator at the University of Wollongong has been well utilised at LIXI presenting technical training sessions around the country to our members.
John has facilitated joint research projects between LIXI, the University of Technology Sydney (UTS), and the University of New South Wales (UNSW). Drawing on his academic connections John established and supervises the LIXI internship program in collaboration with the UTS school of Information, Systems and Modelling.
|Mark Verstege – Lead Architect, Banking and Information Security, Consumer Data Standards at the Data Standards Body
Mark is a Lead Architect for Information Security and Banking for the Consumer Data Right, an economy-wide regime giving consumers greater control over their data.
The Data Standards Body is responsible for the development of cross-sector data standards and consumer experience guidelines for the CDR commencing with Banking and now Energy. Prior to the DSB, Mark was Principal Architect and Manager of Architecture for Digital Identity & API Platforms at Suncorp and has previously held lead architect roles in a number of roles across banking, telco and utilities.
|Stephen Moore – Chairman at LIXI and CEO at Choice
Stephen is a Financial Services professional with over 25 years experience in leadership across distribution, product, operations and strategy, uniquely within wealth management, banking and broking.
Stephen was integrally involved in NAB’s acquisition of the Challenger Mortgage Management businesses; set up Advantedge Financial Solutions, including an advice dealership devoted to broker businesses; and is now CEO, Choice Aggregation.
Stephen is a Director and Responsible Manager of BLSSA, Australia’s largest Australian Credit Licence holder; Chair of LIXI; Director of realestate.com.au Home Loans Mortgage Broking; and a member of the MFAA National Aggregators Committee.
Stephen has a real passion for 3rd party distribution and small business in particular.
