LIXI2 Application Fraud Detection (AFD)


This standard enables electronic messaging between credit origination systems and fraud detection systems. Some data captured during the credit application process is required to be delivered into a fraud detection system for further analysis.


The intended users of the standard are:

  • Lenders (banks and non-bank lenders)
  • Licencees holding an appropriate licence (MC1, L2-C1, L2-C2, L2-C3, L2-C4, L2-O1, L2-O2, L2-O3, L2-EF1)


The message content includes relevant data required for fraud detection taken from these segments:

  • Credit Application Data
  • Credit Assessment
  • Credit History
  • Customer Needs Analysis


The message types include fraud detection of the following submission types:

  • Credit Application Submission
  • Credit Application Resubmission
  • Credit Card Opening
  • Loan Disbursement
  • Loan Partial Disbursement
