Shane has demonstrated a passion for delivering business value through the use of technology. His background in banking and technology has framed his vision for LIXI’s future.
Shane joined LIXI in July 2015 as Chief Technology Officer after holding a series of financial services and banking technology roles internationally. In June 2017 Shane transitioned to the role of Chief Executive Officer.
Shane is a strong technology leader, having proved himself as a business analyst and developer before successfully leading program delivery across multiple areas in a global bank. He was responsible for the finance regulatory reporting platforms across Asia-Pacific as well as dealing with the regulatory issues surrounding the off-shoring of resources around the globe.
Shane is passionate about technology and how new technologies can solve business problems in exciting and often unexpected ways. He has strong experience in understanding how teams interact with the technologies they use, and driving greater productivity with the careful application of technology solutions.

Stephen is a Financial Services professional with over 25 years of experience in leadership across wealth management, banking and finance broking.
Companies include ING with responsibility for Life Insurance operations, MLC, heading the Group Insurance business, NAB, responsible for Customer Strategy/CRM, then a Co-founder of UBank which is internationally recognised as a leading direct bank.
Currently CEO & Managing Director, Choice Aggregation, one of Australians leading broker aggregation businesses; Director of BLSSA, Australia’s largest ACL holder for brokers; Director of realestate.com.au Home Loans; Co-Chair of Governance and Oversight for the Combined Industry Forum (CIF); and, Chairman of LIXI

Head of Client Delivery, Lending Technology - Iress
Martyn Beer has more than forty years of experience in senior roles with Australian Finance and Technology Industry service providers.
His experience includes 15 years' strategic and operational management in the lending businesses of Midland Bank, Colonial State Bank, Westpac and others. For five years, Martyn was an independent introducer to aggregators and funders of retail and commercial mortgages.
He has also spent over 15 years driving technology strategy and delivering technology solutions to the industry Adaptra Group, Sandstone Technology, IBM, Hewlett Packard, Siemens, and most recently, IRESS Ltd. Martyn also independently consults to start up technology businesses, and FSI clients to maximise results from direct to consumer and financial intermediary lending distribution.
Chief Technology Officer - Sandstone Technology
Qualifications: BSC(Hons) in Computer Science & Mathematics
Andrew is currently the group CTO at Sandstone Technology, and has been working with LIXI since an initial implementation of the Sandstone LIXI Gateway in 2004 for Broker applications, and the Sandstone Valuations Management Service processing LIXI valuations requests 2007-2009.
Andrew’s background is in the design and implementation of loan origination products, holding senior development and architecture roles at Sandstone prior to becoming the CTO. A current area of focus for Andrew is applying Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence technologies to financial services, with a specific area of focus being automation and analysis of data streams from documents, Open Banking and core systems.
Co-Founder & Operations Director, Lendi
Qualifications: BSc & MA in Finance
Martin is currently the Head of Innovation, Operations, and Risk at Lendi, Australia’s leader in online home loans. Martin has been instrumental in pioneering the direct to consumer home loan experience. Martin leads the program of work aimed at redefining how consumer data is collected and utilised in the lending industry both for loan applications as well as responsible lending requirements.
Martin holds a BSc and an MA in Finance, specifically focusing on Banking.
General Manager - Distribution, Mortgage Choice

Neill has 30 years' experience in information technology, management consulting and business leadership. Throughout his career, Neill has held various executive roles in lender, direct distribution and third party distribution companies, including RAMS, Greenway and Mortgage Choice. Roles include: the GM Operations and CIO, during which time he was responsible for the technology and operational efficiency of the various businesses.
Neill appreciates how important it is for the industry to adopt common standards to improve the proposition for all stakeholders, and at the same time, improve LIXI member return on investments. LIXI, as the industry body, has the opportunity to assist in facilitating these outcomes, so long as adoption across the industry is broad and the standards are adhered to and supported by the industry as they evolve to meet regulatory requirements and market conditions.
Head of Third Party Distribution, Westpac Group
Qualifications: MBA; F Fin; FAIM; GAICD
Warren has extensive experience in operational, strategic and large people leadership roles across a 30 year career in financial services. He has a deep understanding of the home loan and mortgage distribution landscape and a track record of delivery across a variety of senior roles in retail and commercial banking.
Before joining Westpac in 2016, Warren had an extensive career with National Australia Bank, including Executive General Manager, Retail Banking where he was responsible for leading the bank’s branch and contact centre footprint in Australia. Prior to that he was General Manager, Mortgages and Consumer Insurance for NAB.
In his current role, as Head of Third Party Distribution at Westpac, Warren is responsible for driving the continued growth of partnerships in third party mortgage distribution.
Warren holds an MBA from the Australian Graduate School of Management, is a Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors and a Fellow of both Finsia and the Australian Institute of Management.
Director, Lending Technology Services (LTX)

Mike has 20 years’ experience in the mortgage industry. As a co-founder and executive of mortgage technology and BPO business LTX (Lending Technology Services) and property data and analytics provider IDS (Insight Data Solutions), he has followed his passion for applying data and technology to solve industry problems.
Mike was instrumental in the founding of LIXI when he, John Grant and Barry Thomas first conceived the organisation in 2000. He served as a Director of LIXI between 2004 and 2012 and has chaired or served on several Sub-Committees and Working Groups. Mike continues to believe in and support LIXI's mission as an independent, collaborative enabler of industry efficiency.
National General Manager of Retail Broker Distribution, ANZ

Simone Tilley is National General Manager of Retail Broker Distribution at ANZ. She was formerly National Manager Commercial for ANZ’s Regional Bank, whilst double hatting as State Manager Victoria and Tasmania covering both commercial and agribusiness customers. Prior to this role she ran Global Agribusiness Strategy for ANZ’s Institutional Bank.
Simone holds a Bachelor Degree in Agricultural Science (Hons), Post Grad in Price Risk Management, Agricultural Commodities and represented Australia as a Young Rural Ambassador on a fully paid bursary travelling East to West of Canada, reviewing agribusiness across the supply chain. Simone recently attended the MIT Executive Program in the USA.
She has had a successful career running large and complex businesses with a focus on driving change and achieving significant business performance turn around. Her banking career spans 20 years across Commercial, Corporate, Institutional and Retail divisions where she has also spent 4 years running her family businesses.
