Shane has demonstrated a passion for delivering business value through the use of technology. His background in banking and technology has framed his vision for LIXI’s future.
Shane joined LIXI in July 2015 as Chief Technology Officer after holding a series of financial services and banking technology roles internationally. In June 2017 Shane transitioned to the role of Chief Executive Officer.
Shane is a strong technology leader, having proved himself as a business analyst and developer before successfully leading program delivery across multiple areas in a global bank. He was responsible for the finance regulatory reporting platforms across Asia-Pacific as well as dealing with the regulatory issues surrounding the off-shoring of resources around the globe.
Shane is passionate about technology and how new technologies can solve business problems in exciting and often unexpected ways. He has strong experience in understanding how teams interact with the technologies they use, and driving greater productivity with the careful application of technology solutions.

Lisa has more than 20 years’ experience at an executive level in the banking and wealth management industries following an earlier career as a barrister, Group General Counsel and corporate governance specialist.
Most recently, she was responsible for ING DIRECT’s retail and commercial banking businesses, represented the Australian business on ING Group’s Retail Council and chaired the Group’s Global Mortgages Forum.
As well as holding non-executive positions in the education and industry sectors, Lisa is a passionate advocate on matters impacting the sustainability of the financial services’ industry, improving the outcomes for the customers it serves and regularly publishes and presents on the key trends shaping its future.
Lisa currently holds the role of Managing Director (Australia & New Zealand) for CoreLogic – the world’s largest property data and analytics company.
Martyn Beer has more than thirty years experience with senior roles within the Australian Financial services and Technology industry sectors.
Martyn’s experience includes 15 years' strategic and operational management experience in the lending businesses of Midland Bank, Colonial State Bank, BankWest, Liberty Financial and Guardian. For five years, Martyn was an independent introducer to aggregators and funders of retail and commercial mortgages. Martyn has also spent over 15 years delivering technology solutions to the financial services industry at Adaptra Group, Sandstone Technology, IBM, Hewlett Packard, Siemens, and Satyam Computer Services.
Martyn is currently consulting to start up technology businesses servicing the financial intermediary marketplace.
Chief Operations Officer - Group Lending Services, Commonwealth Bank of Australia

Michael is a senior leader with 20 years experience in Financial Services both in Banking and Insurance and is currently the Chief Operations Officer of Lending Operations as CBA.
Michael is the Chief Operations Officer of Group Lending Services and has held this role since September 2015. Michael leads the major projects and change management across the Home Loan processing functions along with leading the Training and Operational support services to 1500 staff.
Prior to this role, Michael led the Operations functions at Aussie Home Loans, a subsidiary of CBA where there was a focus on driving efficiencies and customer service enhancements.
Michael joined the CBA in 2010 with 25 years in the Financial Services industry where he also worked at NAB and IAG.
Head of Digital Transformation, Aussie Home Loans

As Head of Digital Transformation at Aussie, Richard is responsible for broker and customer facing applications including Toolbox and its integration with panel lenders. In his 4 years at Aussie he has gained deep experience of the mortgage broker market and technology required to support it. Richard is leading an integrated team in transforming the customer experience and scaling operations through the application of technology and digital assets and has deep experience of applying LIXI to mortgages and other product applications in the aggregator space.
Chairman, NPP Australia Limited
Qualifications: BSc, FFINSIA, FAIM, MAICD
Paul has over 35 years’ experience in the financial services industry including Managing Director of Mortgage Choice. Paul is currently the Chairman of NPP Australia Limited, overseeing development of a new platform to enable fast, data-enriched and simply addressed payments services for Australian business and consumers.
Paul acted as the Chairman of the LIXI Board 2012-15, and prior to that Paul provided consulting advice to LIXI, particularly in the area of strategy facilitation and effective governance.
Paul also serves as Chairman of Retail Finance Intelligence, Smartline Personal Mortgage Advisers, and is a director of AUB Holdings.
Paul holds a BSc Agr from Sydney University and is a Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
General Manager - Distribution, Mortgage Choice

Neill has extensive experience in the financial services industry, over 13 years having fulfilled executive roles in lender, direct distribution and third party distribution companies, including RAMS, Greenway and Mortgage Choice. Roles include GM Operations and CIO roles with responsibility for technology and operational efficiency.
Neill has a strong appreciation of the importance and value to the industry of adopting common standards to improve the proposition for all constituents, and at the same time improve LIXI member return on investments. LIXI, as the industry body, has the opportunity to assist in facilitating these outcomes, so long as adoption across the industry is broad and the standards are adhered to and supported.
National Head Retail Broker Distribution, ANZ

Simone Tilley is National Head of Retail Broker Distribution across ANZ. She was formerly National Manager Commercial for ANZ’s Regional Bank, whilst double hatting as State Manager Victoria and Tasmania covering both commercial and agribusiness customers. Prior to this role she ran Global Agribusiness Strategy for ANZ’s Institutional Bank.
Simone holds a Bachelor Degree in Agricultural Science (Hons), Post Grad in Price Risk Management, Agricultural Commodities and represented Australia as a Young Rural Ambassador on a fully paid bursary travelling East to West of Canada, reviewing agribusiness across the supply chain.
She has had a successful career running large and complex businesses with a focus on driving change and achieving significant business performance turn around. Her banking career spans 20 years across Commercial, Corporate, Institutional and Retail divisions where she has also spent 4 years running her family businesses.
CEO and Director of QBE LMI and General Manager of Financial Institutions, QBE Australia

Prior to his appointment as CEO, Phil was responsible for strategy and distribution of all QBE's insurance products (LMI, general and life insurance) to financial institutions in Australia. Since joining QBE LMI in 2006 Phil has held a variety of senior roles, including Head of Financial Institution General Insurance, Head of Capital Markets and Structured Transactions, and Principal New Business Ventures.
Phil spent the first part of his career specialising in UK commercial property markets and, prior to joining QBE LMI, gained extensive global experience as a management consultant in the UK, Europe, Africa and Australia. Phil has a first class bachelor of engineering degree and is a graduate member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
CEO, Choice Aggregation Services
Stephen is a Financial Services professional having over 20 years experience in leadership roles across distribution, product, operations and strategy, uniquely within both wealth management and banking. Companies include ING, where he ran the life insurance operations; MLC, heading the Group Insurance business, then General Manager for Platform Development and the start-up of UBank. Stephen was integrally involved in NAB's acquisition of the Advantedge Group of businesses from Challenger. Stephen was appointed CEO of Choice in December 2010.
